Thanks to the great diversity of the surrounding slopes, in the winter there is no space for boredom in the Isarco Valley. Those who already are familiar with the ski regions Plose and Gitschberg/Val Giovo, after only about 20 minutes by car may discover many more kilometres of slopes for wonderful hours in the powder snow. In less than half an hour by car, you may reach the ski areas of Plan de Corones (the number one ski carousel in South Tyrol with around 120 km of slopes), Monte Cavallo in Vipiteno, Racines and Val Gardena. The latter is a popular skiing destination thanks to its connections to the legendary “Sella Ronda”. This circular route is open for skiers and hikers, and leads in two directions around the mighty Sella Massif of the Dolomites. A unique experience with an unrivalled mountain scenery!
